With the travel industry still recovering from a turbulent few years, it’s even more satisfying to see Kwessi Dunes Lodge getting the attention it truly deserves. And of course, it’s a real thrill that the photography featured—cover included—was captured by our team.
Photographing in a place as visually striking as Kwessi Dunes is both a privilege and a challenge. The stark beauty of the Namibian desert offers stunning opportunities for creative photography and careful composition.
The lodge’s incredible architecture and the vast skies demand thoughtful planning with every shot. Our goal isn’t just to take beautiful images, but to create work that editors genuinely want to publish. In that regard, this particular shoot has definitely hit the mark.
There’s a huge difference between simply recording a location and truly capturing its spirit. For us, that means early mornings, late evenings, and a constant awareness of the light, the atmosphere, and the small details that bring a story to life.
