Fregate Island

This was a bit of a groundbreaking site for us, employing complex 3d imagery to allow the users to whizz round the entire island, zooming in and out.

The idea was to really get across just how remote Fregate Private Island is, even in the context of the already remote Seychelles.

Adding to the complexity of the job was that the world shut down just as we got going, so we were unable to get on location to capture the quantity of images we felt we needed to create a complete and detailed 3D map of the island. Instead we were lucky enough to be able to instruct a local photographer to take high-res photos from a helicopter, and reconstruct the rest through a number of 2D and 3D technologies from just 31 photos.

Fregate island is now also shut until 2024 as it undergoes an extensive rebuild of the properties, so the villas section of the site is currently hidden (which is a pity as it was excellent!)
